The BCAA's are a set of 3 amino acids that are essential for maintaining and building muscle mass, creating the necessary anabolic environment and for recovery at the end of training. The BCAA's ( Leucine, Valine and Isoleucine) make up almost a third of muscle tissue

Amino acids are the components that make up proteins: they are made up of long chains, which are divided into two groups: non-essential amino acids and essential amino acids.

Branched Chain Amino Acids, or BCAAs, are a type of essential amino acid. Our bodies can produce them on their own and we must ingest them through supplements or diet. BCAAs are made up of a group of three amino acids: leucine, isoleucine and valine.

Leucine is found in the highest proportion: 8 refers to this amino acid. Of these amino acids, Leucine is the most important for its effects, although it is strongly supported by the other 2 amino acids. For this reason, Life Pro BCAA 8:1:1 contains this ratio: it is provided 8 times more than the other two amino acids. This is the most effective ratio for promoting muscle mass gain.

Life Pro BCAA 8:1:1 is recommended for people who work out, who need to improve their recovery time, promote muscle mass gain and avoid catabolism.

Unlike high protein whole foods or protein supplements, in which the amino acids in their composition must be digested, metabolized in the liver before being transported. They require more time and a much more complex process until they can be used.

Leucine:

It is the amino acid with the highest proportion of BCAA 8:1:1. Leucine works by activating a pathway called mTOR that can trigger protein synthesis in muscles. Leucine is the branched-chain amino acid of the three that is most involved in protein synthesis and in creating the anabolic environment for muscle mass gain. This is why we will always see higher amounts than the other two.

  • Its main objective is to help maintain muscle mass. Helps to prevent catabolism.
  • Leucine works by activating a pathway called mTOR that can trigger protein synthesis in muscles. They are more easily and quickly absorbed than most other amino acids.
  • Promotes protein synthesis.
  • Helps regulate blood glucose levels.

Isoleucine:

  • Optimizes the metabolism of glucose by increasing the capacity to be stored in the muscles.
  • Promotes the synthesis of new muscle fibers and their reconstruction after exercise
  • Helps to eliminate fat during exercise because it promotes its use as an energy source.
  • Reduces the risk of type II diabetes.
  • It is a precursor of alanine and glutamine.

Valine:

  • Allow positive nitrogen balance, necessary to repair and create muscle tissue.
  • It acts as a nervous system relaxant, which can reduce nervousness, anxiety or stress.
  • It helps regulate the amount of glucose in the blood.

Recommended for people who frequently participate in sports and are physically active, looking to improve their recovery time, promote the gain and maintenance of muscle mass and optimize the creation of an anabolic environment.

Because of its versatility and ease of use, BCAA 2:1:1 is ideal to take during workouts, as well as throughout the day.

It is recommended to take a dose of BCAA of 4 capsules, after training and 4 before going to bed, for a total dose of 8 capsules.

They can be taken at different times of the day:

Before training: make sure that during training you have the necessary amino acids and maintain muscle mass.

During training: the correct supply of amino acids to the muscles and also, they will go directly, since they do not need to be digested.

After training: they help to create an environment conducive to muscle mass gain and reduce fatigue.
